Allashia Smith-Harris is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Substance Abuse Counselor.

She is the author of Hidden: Mental Illness Hides Out in the Church, a resource for Black churches to identify and manage mental illness in their congregations.

Allashia is a professor at her alma mater, Mercy College, where she received both her undergraduate and master degrees. Smith-Harris serves as a licensed missionary in the Church of God In Christ, under the First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of Eastern New York. She is a proud soror of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. EE-YIP! Her greatest joy is found in her marriage to Bryan and beautiful daughters, Jada and Jailynn.
